ABOUT.
In 2020, Dan Gorsalitz founded Edmonton-based structural engineering firm Nublock Engineering Inc. It was formed to provide owners, contractors, and architects with smart structural solutions to complex projects.
Dan started his career framing homes at the age of 14 for his father’s company - Allwood Developments Ltd. Working summers of secondary school and throughout university, Dan acquired invaluable hands-on experience in the trades and eventually went on to run his own framing crew. Transitioning to the office, he developed strong technical and interpersonal skills managing private and public sector design projects for leading structural engineering firms in Edmonton.
Now backed with over 15 years’ experience in structural engineering and building construction, Dan is channeling his passion and expertise into a fresh approach to consulting through Nublock Engineering.
